Introduction
Hi folks
There's been some big news recently from the Perch team. They have announced plans for Perch 4 which is intended for release this summer. New features in v4 include an updated user interface and cloud back-up (previously a Runway-only feature). Also, first-party add-ons are being revised and a centralised directory for all add-ons is planned. It sounds great!
There are changes to the licensing agreement as well and Perch 4 will be a charged upgrade with subscription-based pricing. That may be difficult for some people but I think it will make Perch development more sustainable.
Also in this issue, there are some great new third party apps. For example, a Helper app and an image orientation detection template filter. Nice work.
See you next time
