Hi everyone
There's some exciting news this month because Perch has new owners! I've included a link to the forum post announcement below.
This would seem to be a completely new chapter for Perch and I'm hoping for a bigger emphasis on Perch development. There's also some good news about existing licenses because all current license terms will be carried over to the new company Perch Runway Ltd.
I'm also a bit sad that the original Perch core team of Drew and Rachel will not be involved with the future development of Perch. I know they have had criticism in some quarters for their approach over the last couple of years. However, they created and developed the product for over 10 years and I'd like to say Thank You.
Welcome to the new owners. I'm looking forward to hearing more about their plans!

Perch has a new home!
We’re very excited to be able to announce that the Perch CMS family of products are moving to a new home with a new company, Perch Runway Ltd. It has been a great honour to take Perch from a small side project through to a thriving family of CMS products and add-ons over the course of 12 years, and we extend our thanks to all the customers and partners who have helped us build Perch into what it is today. The future for Perch is bright, and its new owners have great plans to make sure Perch is well supported and updated into the future.

Chirp allows Perch CMS content editors to analyse their content, and improve their on-site SEO. And now, it has been open-sourced by its developer Ryan. He's looking for contributors to the Chirp app and wants to develop it further. Get involved!

Fetch items in a custom order
If you know the IDs of some items, you can fetch and template these items in a specific order using MySQL’s FIELD() function.
